Sub-agents help you go deeper under a department without losing the main leader agent. Use them for a narrow job that repeats.
Step 1: Pick a parent department
Choose the C-Suite agent that owns the work. Example: a content agent under the CMO agent.
Step 2: Name the role clearly
Use a name that states the job. Clear names help routing and reporting.
Step 3: Run the configuration interview
Answer the short questions so the sub-agent gets a strong role prompt. Good prompts reduce rework.
Step 4: Set boundaries
Say what the sub-agent should not do. Boundaries prevent overlap with sibling agents.
Step 5: Start with a two-week pilot
Give real tasks for two weeks. Adjust prompts based on what breaks.
What happens next
You build depth in the org chart without losing a clean leadership structure.
